Read-Alouds
Read-alouds are an important part of the reading block. Fortunately for me, my district provides us with read-alouds and lesson plans based on different themes. They are great, diverse books. However, sometimes I want to choose the books! (Especially, my all-time favorites!) I have found a Pinterest Board that provides links for read-aloud books on the internet, a blog that shares different read-alouds throughout the year, and another great blog Two Teachers Who Read Alot that shares excellent read-alouds. I love the World Wide Web! There are so many resources available to those that have the time to look!

Ok, first I love Pinterest and only look at it when all my work is done and I mean ALL my work(which doesn't happen too often!)because I get lost and forget what I need to do!
ReplyDeleteI've taken the Responsive Classroom course and use it in my classroom.I use many of their songs and love to read their books.
Now to the other blog...from one obsessed children's book reader to another-this blog is great! Can't wait to get lost in it! Thanks for sharing so I don't have to go and look!!
Yeah! I'm so glad you will be able to use the blogs I mentioned! Sometimes it's hard to filter through blogs to find useful information but there are so many good blogs to get resources and information from! Happy reading!
DeleteSo Suzanne, are you adding these blogs to your Google Reader, which will make it much faster for you find the good ideas?
ReplyDeleteI have added a few blogs to my google reader, including the members of my circle. Google Reader is an excellent way to get to their blog posts faster!
